The way the Meyerland/Willow Meadows area community has come together after last weeks flood has been out of this world! Neighbors who were strangers have become friends doing countless loads of laundry for each other, preparing meals and purchasing supplies, going door to door delivering food/supplies, donating clothes and other needs, calling stores and restaurants for donations and distributing these items. There have been community wide meals for hundreds of people, clothing drives at local schools, teams and teams of people at homes on every block to help with manual labor. The list goes on.
With so much devastation it has been heartwarming to see everyone helping each other. No job has been too big or small. Kudos to everyone - so proud to be a part of this COMMUNITY.
Something Borrowed Floral Decor wants to give a special thank you to a handful of people who have been leaders in this effort coordinating teams of people, working from dawn till dark, day after day to personally make sure that anyone who needed something was taken care of. Flowers were delivered to several community volunteers in Houston, Texas. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for leading the way to help our community get through this tragic disaster!
I wish I had flowers to give EVERYONE for their heroic efforts spending countless hours helping those in need because soooo many people are deserving of a token of thanks. Way to go Meyerland area!
